Supplier Engagement

The largest share of many organizations' footprints sits in the value chain, and the data lives with suppliers who are not users of your carbon system. Supplier Engagement gives them a way in. A supplier receives a tokenised link to a form and submits the data you asked for, such as transport and travel details, without creating an account or seeing anything else in your workspace.

Supplier data also improves the quality of your calculations. Where a supplier can provide a measured value, an administrator can register it as a Tier 3, supplier-specific emission factor for your organization, with the reason and source URL recorded for the verifier. Reports then show clearly which figures rest on supplier-measured factors and which use national or global defaults.

For disclosure, the App tracks how much of each Scope 3 category is covered by engaged suppliers, which feeds the value-chain engagement checks used in CDP-style readiness reviews.
