Scope 1/2/3 Calculation Engine

The calculation engine applies the formula every framework agrees on, activity data multiplied by emission factor, consistently across every source type. For Scope 1 it covers stationary combustion, mobile combustion with Thai fuel blends such as E20, E85, B7, B10, B20, NGV and LPG, refrigerant top-ups and CO2 fire suppression.

Scope 2 supports dual reporting. Grid electricity is calculated with the location-based national factor, while renewable purchases backed by certificates (RE100, I-REC, T-REC) and on-site solar can be recorded with a market-based factor. Purchased steam and cooling are handled with custom factors. Both methods are kept in the same inventory and shown in separate columns of the TGO Fr-04.1 and GRI 305-2 outputs.

Scope 3 is complete across all 15 categories of the GHG Protocol Scope 3 Standard, from purchased goods and capital goods through business travel, employee commuting, waste, use of sold products and investments. Each category has its own input form and factor lookup, so a tonne-kilometre of upstream transport, a hotel night and a kilogram of landfilled waste are each calculated the right way.
